Sharon Watson, ADC (Mayor’s Taskforce for Jobs in Ashburton).
This initiative is designed to support both job seekers and local employers.  It helps individuals gain employment by providing access to valuable training, licenses, and endorsements, while also assisting businesses in finding the right candidates for their staffing needs.  There is potential funding available to help employers with costs such as tools, PPE, and training.  Additionally, Sharon offers ongoing pastoral support to both the employee and employer to ensure a smooth and successful transition into the workplace.
