Judges have started their journey up and down the country seeking New Zealand’s top residential builds in the Registered Master Builders 2018 House of the Year competition.
After the Canterbury earthquakes struck an original 1975 Peter Beaven-designed home, it was in need of some significant restoration work.
A remarkable urban oasis in Tauranga took home the national CARTERS New Home $1 million to $2 million Award at the 2017 Registered Master Builders House of the Year awards. The home also won the Outdoor Living Award at the national competition.
