Update: COVID-19

12 August 2020

As you’ll be aware, the Prime Minister and Director-General of Health, Ashley Bloomfield announced that the country will move up COVID-19 Alert Levels at 12 noon today. Auckland will move to Alert Level 3 and the rest of New Zealand, Alert Level 2.

This means we can continue working on building sites or at display homes. However, every site and display home must follow the relevant Residential Construction Health and Safety Protocols. These are not optional, they are mandatory.

For Auckland this means the Alert Level 3 Protocols and for the rest of New Zealand, the Alert Level 2 Protocols. You can access the protocols for building sites and display homes here

CHASNZ has all the appropriate resources for managing sites and display homes, which you can access and download here

We will continue to keep you up to date of any further announcements over the coming days.

Kind regards
David Kelly
