RMBA Members Conference 17 August, Wellington

As a Registered Master Builder, you are the best in the business - the quality of your craftmanship and your business sets you apart.  It is a busy time for everyone in the industry at the moment and the expectations placed on us to deliver are only going to increase over the new few years. While booms times can be great for business, this opportunity comes with some very real challenges – everything from skills shortages through to the ability to adapt to change.

This years Registered Master Builders Member Conference will address the skills, knowledge and networks you need to help you meet the challenges, and take advantage of the opportunities, so you can build a better building business.

The conference is being held on Friday 17th August at Macs Function Centre, Wellington, with site visits on Saturday morning the 18th August.

Highlights of this year’s programme include:

Dr Mike Ashby from the BreakThrough Co, who features on RMBA training platform Elevate talking about how you can build a better business, more boom and less blah.

Mark Holland from Hazelton Law addressing the most frequently asked questions they receive from builders through the RMBA Members legal hotline.

Dr Paul Wood speaking to the human experience and providing practical insights on topics such as our capacity for change, how to cope with uncertainty, how to build mental toughness and hope, the importance of self-reflection and personal accountability in growth, how to identify and maximize our potential, and how to turn adversity to your advantage.

The programme will also cover the future of attracting and training people in our industry and will conclude with a gala dinner and special guest speaker.

This is a conference you will not want to miss!
