Our Story and Our People

Master Build Services was the first in New Zealand to offer building Guarantees – and our products remain the clear market leader.

We were set up more than 25 years ago as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Registered Master Builders Association and we continue to evolve. In 2018 we carried out a full review of all our products to update them for the current market.

Our Guarantee has been developed in New Zealand, by New Zealanders for New Zealand families.

More than 140,000 properties have been protected by our Guarantee since we started out. More than 50,000 of our Guarantees are currently active in the market offering protection for more than $34 billion worth of property.

Master Build Services is committed to the highest levels of governance. We have a very strong Board which includes Independent Directors, the Board has extensive experience and knowledge of both the construction and Insurance markets in NZ. We are backed by the Registered Master Builders Association who work with the Government and the sector to develop and uphold the highest possible building standards. Registered Master Builders set the standard for professionalism, and our Guarantee is a key part of that.

Engage a Registered Master Builder and insist on a Master Build 10-Year Guarantee, the most comprehensive product on the market.
