Lasting value of a Guarantee

A Master Build Guarantee adds value to your property when you’re selling, by giving the buyer the peace of mind that they’re protected.

A Guarantee can be transferred any number of times within its 10-year life. Transferring a Guarantee does not extend the period of cover.

Request to transfer a Guarantee

To transfer a Master Build Guarantee, the new homeowner must submit a Request for Transfer form within 90 days of settlement of the property.

The form includes a declaration that the new owner has made a full inspection of the home and accepts the Guarantee’s terms and conditions.

All transfer requests are subject to our approval.

Fees

A transfer fee of $400 (including GST) applies, payable by the new homeowner.

The first time a Master Build Guarantee is transferred from a developer to a homeowner is free.
