The Policy & Advocacy team at Registered Master Builders advocate for our industry and members by working with government, working groups and other external parties. We research proposed law changes from Government that will impact the industry and submit submissions on behalf of RMBA and its members. We collaborate with other organisations connected to the construction industry, to create a united front in achieving our goal of
Building a Better New Zealand.
A key part of our advocacy programme is our annual Constructive Forum. Constructive brings the entire supply chain together, from finance, land, design and build, and key enabling sectors such as research, training, and regulation to identify ways to improve the sector. Collaboration is the enduring theme. Maybe one of the most significant outcomes of this Forum has been the Construction Sector Accord, which was first discussed and created at Constructive. We continue to play an active role in the Accord.
