Member Update: COVID-19
1 March 2021
Once again we are in the unfortunate position where our industry must operate under Level 3 (Auckland) and Level 2 (rest of New Zealand) until at least 6am 7 March 2021.
At Alert Levels 2 and 3, you can continue working on building sites or at display homes. However, every site and display home must follow the relevant Residential Construction Health and Safety Protocols. These are not optional, they are mandatory.
CHASNZ has all the appropriate resources for managing sites and display homes under Alert Levels 2 and 3, which you can access and download here.
You can find out more about the financial support available for businesses here.
The events over the past couple of weeks have clearly demonstrated how important it is that we all follow the rules, and that we can only continue to enjoy the freedoms of life at Level 1 if we all do our bit and work together to keep ourselves, our families, our work places, communities and country safe.
As Master Builders, we have an important leadership role to play and I thank you for the role you are playing in setting the standard for the industry.
We will continue to keep you up to date on any further announcements over the coming days.

Kind regards,
David Kelly
