Mental Health First Aid Webinar
: Tuesday 14 June 2022
This webinar will focus on the early intervention/prevention nature of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA). Kate Figgins, one of the Directors of HumanEx, and Dan Oatridge, MHFA Aotearoa instructor, will discuss the MHFA action plan which is a simple yet effective tool for mental health first responders.
Dan will speak about his personal challenges and how he worked to minimise the impact, he has a good vantage point as both someone who trains MHFAiders and as someone who has experienced ill mental health.
We will also provide some information on languishing vs flourishing within the context of Covid-19 (and modern life), this demonstrates the variability of the Mental Health spectrum and how mental wellbeing is not polarised.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
