SCOTT CONSTRUCTION
for a home in Kaiteriteri, Tasman

This home also won the New Home Over $4 million category and a Gold Award, as well as the Outdoor Living Excellence Award, the Plumbing World Bathroom Excellence Award, and the Kitchen Excellence Award.

This project stands out for its exceptional execution on a highly challenging coastal site. Constructing an architecturally designed home in such an environment required careful planning, technical expertise, and strong collaboration across all trades involved. The finished result is a beautifully crafted home that reflects dedication at every stage, from the first excavation to the final touches. Subtle and understated design elements demanded precision and care, allowing the builders to showcase not only their exceptional craftsmanship but also their absolute commitment to the project. This is a home built with pride, teamwork, and a deep understanding of both design intent and construction quality. It is a place the owners will undoubtedly treasure and enjoy for years to come.

Supreme Renovation of the Year

HODSON CONSTRUCTION
for a home in Mt. Victoria, Wellington

This home also won the Renovation $500,000 - $1 million category and a Gold Award.

This character cottage has been sensitively transformed into a modern home, with a seamless transition between old and new. The layout flows with intention, maintaining the charm of the original structure while introducing thoughtful contemporary elements. Stepping down into the open-plan kitchen, dining and living area is a defining moment. High-level windows draw in natural light, while the lowered ceiling above the dining space creates a warm, intimate atmosphere that contrasts beautifully with the openness of the adjacent rooms. Every space has been designed with long-term liveability in mind, resulting in a home that is as practical as it is welcoming.
