ENTRIES NOW CLOSE ON THE 11 NOVEMBER
🌟 Enter the 2023 New Zealand Commercial Project Awards and Celebrate Your Team! ðŸŒŸ

19 October 2022

We know that many of our residential members work in the commercial space and do small commercial projects and commercial fitouts but probably never think about entering the NZ Commercial Project Awards, as the perception is they are only for the bigger companies.

That is not the case, these awards have something for everyone, both big and small, and we encourage you to enter so you too can celebrate your amazing commercial project and the team that brought it to life.

The size of the project, the team, and the contract value does not matter.

Get in quick, entries now close on November 11.

Why Enter?

You enter because you want to recognise the work of your project team and the journey you took together in bringing your project life – a great way to strengthen and celebrate your relationships.

You enter because we rarely celebrate the process of getting there. These projects can take years and the journey of how you got there deserves to be recognised.

You enter so you get your chance to be recognised for your achievements in your price bracket and so you can showcase your local project to national clients who operate all around the country.

Still not convinced?
Hear from Mark Scown from Accent Construction Interiors and Tim Purdon from Projectability talking about the Massey Primary School Block One project they entered in the 2022 competition.

Who Can Enter?
The awards are an all-of-industry event and are open to all New Zealand based commercial construction project partners including but not limited to - contractors, architects, building owners, engineers, and quantity surveyors. You do not need to be a member of Registered Master Builders to enter.

Entrants choose which category their project will be entered into. There is a category for everyone as well as the coveted Value Awards, the Special, Innovation  and Sustainable and Environmental Awards, and of course the Supreme Award. Find out all about the different categories and awards here.

Our Value Awards also ensure that all projects, no matter what the value and size, have the chance to recognised and celebrated for their achievements in their price bracket. They allow smaller contractors to showcase their local projects to national clients who operate all around the country, as well as celebrating the very best of our larger buildings.

One of our residential builders, JRA Construction won a silver award in the Tourism & Leisure category at the 2022 New Zealand Commercial Project Awards for their entry The Laingholm Baptists Church.

"The team knew they were creating a special space for the community. As a result, all involved really felt as though they were a part of that community and enjoyed getting to know the users of the space. It was also the year of challenges, with Covid, material shortages, and delays, on top of the project specific issues of having to work into existing structures and working with a changing budget. But it was these challenges that made the project so interesting and rewarding. The close relationship between the contractors and the supporting community ensured the project ran smoothly."

If you are proud of what your team has accomplished, then these are the awards for you.

You can find out more information on the website or download the Entry Guide.

We would love to see an entry from your team to celebrate the innovation, collaboration, and commitment of your team at the awards gala in Auckland, May next year.
