On Saturday night we announced the Auckland / Northland / Coromandel House of the Year winners for 2023.
This year, there were 82 beautiful homes entered from around the Auckland / Northland / Coromandel region. The much anticipated event was celebrated at the Cordis Hotel and was a fantastic evening of celebration. We hope everyone who attended had a great night.

This home also won the New Home over $4 million category, Outdoor Living Excellence Award, Plumbing World Bathroom Excellence Award, and a Gold Award.
Built close to the beach, this home is magnificent inside and out. The design has amazing indoor-outdoor flow with both sides of the living area opening to the outdoors.
The design of this home was complex. Particular challenges included the brick veneer and the large sliding timber doors, which all had to be expertly installed. The project is an exceptional build by Kane Build Group, and it shows great effort and collaboration between the builder, architects, and owners.

Renovating a Victorian villa is no easy task – and walking past this home now, the classical frontage gives little indication of the incredible work undertaken at the back of the house. This speaks to the excellence of the construction team, who worked with the owner to breathe new life into this home which seamlessly moves between the past and the present.
It can be difficult to find the right words to describe something so impressive – to do it justice. For this renovation, the planning and skills on display are as good as it gets.
