Individual Memberships (Associate)

We provide a number of options for those who wish to become an individual member.  Whether just starting out in your career as an apprentice, student in construction, a qualified craftsman or professional working in the industry; individual membership gives you the opportunity to be a part of our organisation.

Associate Apprentice

Undertaking a recognised qualification in carpentry.

Associate Student

Undertaking a recognised qualification in construction (this would generally require study towards a professional qualification in construction).

Associate Individual

An individual who is currently employed and of good character and is either:

• A LBP in carpentry and/or site
• Trade qualified (as recognised by RMBA), or
• Qualifies for membership through time served

Associate Professional

An individual who is either an employee or the owner of a RMB company and holds a recognised professional qualification: or an individual who holds a professional qualification within the building industry e.g.: Supervisors, Construction Managers, Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors.
