Apprentices from all over New Zealand have already entered this years leading carpentry competition - is yours one of them?

Time is ticking, entries close next Friday 12 April. Don’t leave it to the last minute - get your apprentice to enter now so they don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to put their skills to the test, meet some amazing people and have some fun. 

With your support, your apprentice could take out the regional, and maybe even the national title and drive away in a brand new ute, proudly provided by CARTERS.

MYTH BUSTERS

Does the employer have to be a Registered Master Builders Member for me to enter the competition?
NO: Apprentices with any builder are welcome to enter– they DO NOT have to be a Master Builders member.  


Do apprentices have to be trained through a specific training provider?
NO: Apprentices can be trained by any appropriate training provider.








Is Your Apprentice Eligible to Enter?


They need to:
Be currently employed by, or contracted to a building firm or a builder at the time of the regional competition being judged (does not need to be a Registered Master Builder).
 
Have completed at least two years of their New Zealand Certificate in Carpentry L4 by 12 April 2024 and still be an apprentice at the time of entries close on 12 April 2024.
